Without a doubt, the question we get asked most is “can you service my car while it is still under warranty ?” The answer is YES, WE CAN! Typically, manufacturers provide new car warranty of 3 years / 100,000 km. To maintain that warranty the vehicle must fulfil three main components.
- The vehicle must be serviced as per the log book, by mileage and/or time intervals
- The vehicle must be serviced by a licenced workshop and technician
- Parts and lubricants used must be from the manufacturer or be of equivalent quality
At Balgowlah Automotive we adhere to all these requirements. Our workshop is fully licenced and keeps up to date with the latest technology so we can service your car properly. All cars these days have a number of computers operating things such as the engine, transmission, brakes, air conditioning, windows, dashboards and lights. It is therefore important to not only have the diagnostic equipment to service them but also trained people to operate them. Our licenced Technicians are constantly attending courses to keep them abreast of the latest innovations so they can look after your car correctly.
The vehicle service log book is what we base our servicing on so it is important to us to keep that up to date. We offer a 2 year warranty on all new parts and lubricants that we provide so if we can save our customers some money without compromising on quality then we will.
